Side Trip To DOLCELATTE
After wandering and lining up on the booth of COSMO BEAUTY BLOCK,
my friend invited me to have our brunch first. Since I came straight
from the office and feeling hungry as well, I did not hesitate and just say
yes.
After ordering, they serve a complimentary bread. Since DOLCELATTE is well known for having the best Croughnuts in town, I wasn't surprised that even their complimentary bread screams yum! (I'm not able to take a decent picture of the food due to my cravings.)

First food arrived. We ordered Bolognese, a
traditional all-beef meat sauce on spaghetti pasta topped with Parmesan
cheese. The pasta was al dente, and the sauce was tasty and delicious.

After a few minutes we served with the All
Meat Pizza. A thin crust pizza top with juicy Hungarian sausage, which
was their own produce product as well, beef, ham, bacon and special
cheese blend. What I like the most in the pizza is the burned edge of
the crust. It creates another texture to the savory taste of the
toppings.

The most awaited food of the day is the Valrhona Earl Grey
Cheesecake. It was my first time tasting a cheesecake made with earl
grey (black tea). I must say that the taste was so addicting and
definitely you will want for more. No wonder my friend is really raving
about this cake. The balance of the premium chocolate and tea together
with the cream cheese is truly match made in heaven. The orange zest breaks through the creaminess, sweetness and bitterness of the cake itself.

Value for Money: 7/10
Price of pasta and pizza was a little bit on the pricey side base on the taste. But for the dessert, definitely worth it. The cheesecake and their breads and other pastry is a must try.
The waiter was attentive and very helpful. The ambiance of the restaurant was cozy.
